Education Students Recognized at State Leadership Conference

Each year students from the Education Professions Classes at the New Castle Career Center attend the Family, Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Leadership Conference. This year the conference took place at the Horizon Center in Muncie on March 5-7.

This year twenty-one students attended the conference and competed in a host of events. Each student was tasked with completing various projects and then presenting them to a panel of judges.

In addition to their individual projects, nineteen students also chose to complete the requirements to earn an award known as the Ultimate Leadership Degree. Students were given a plaque in the shape of Indiana for completing these requirements. Additionally, some students received individual honors.
