Cosmetology
Students complete an apprenticeship program identified by the Indiana Cosmetology Licensing Board and are prepared to take the state licensing examination. Students must attend Cosmetology I and II to accumulate the hours required, and students must be 18 years old to take the examination. Students learn proficiency in all areas of Cosmetology. Due to State Board requirements, students must attend class four (4) hours per day and 20 hours per week.

Has excellent high school attendance
Demonstrates patience & attention to detail
Works independently & in small groups
Manages time without constant supervision

IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS:
Students have earned a pass rate of 100% on the state licensing exam
Students have gone on to attend Vincennes, Ivy Tech, and other schools
Students have gone to work in local salons and obtained licensing in neighboring states
