Education Careers
Education Careers prepares students for employment in early childhood education and related services. Our program provides the foundations for study in post-secondary education that can lead to other child-related careers. The program covers: planning and guiding developmentally appropriate activities for young children, guidance and discipline practices, basic health and safety principles, and an overview of the management and operation of licensed child care facilities. Students also gain experiences in one or more child care/preschool lab sites.
