EMT & Public Safety
Our hands-on EMT program fully prepares students to become a licensed EMT. In addition to EMT skills, students will gain exposure to many areas of public safety. EMT students are taught real-world situations in our classroom & lab settings. You must be able to pass a criminal history check.
A TYPICAL STUDENT IN EMT & PUBLIC SAFETY:
Has career aspirations including: EMT, paramedic, or firefighter
Has a mature attitude and respects confidentiality
Has a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
Has excellent written & verbal communication skills
