The New Castle Career Center Cosmetology Program recently announced that they have opened back up to the public. The program stopped taking outside clients when the pandemic began. 

Students attending this program are working on perfecting the craft of hair care, hair treatments, spa services, and more. While closed to the public, participants have been limited to practicing their work on each other, instructors, and hair mannequins, which has left them eager to welcome new clientele into the building. 

“The Salon” as the students have named it, is open to clients on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between the hours of 8 -11 am and 12:30 – 3:30 pm. They do have evening hours available by appointment. 

Cosmetology students provide services under the guidance and expertise of their licensed instructors, and services are provided at a discounted price. Haircuts, perms, highlights, pedicures, manicures, and waxing, are just some of the services available at The Salon.
