Health Science Education

Students spend time in the classroom as well as participating in clinical rotations at healthcare facilities in the community. Clinical experiences vary depending on the student’s career goals and training site availability. Classroom instruction includes human anatomy & physiology, medical terminology, ethics, CPR, and practical skills applicable to all health-related occupations.

Career aspirations include: nursing, x-ray, laboratory, physical therapy, nuclear medicine, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, dietary, mortuary science, pharmacy, and medical records.
Students must have a mature attitude and respect confidentiality
Students must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
Strong math and science skills

Strong work ethic, compassionate, and detail oriented
Have 3 or less absences per semester in school

Approximately $388 Covers: Uniforms, Clinical Shoes, Personal Equipment, HOSA Dues, Class Shirt, Dual Credits, Criminal Background Check and Certification.
