New Castle Career Center Students Earn Ivy Tech Certificates

The New Castle Career Center recognizes and honors the 96 students who earned an Ivy Tech certificate for the 2019-20 school year. Students are given the opportunity to earn between 5 and 30 dual credits during their career programs or early college program. New Castle Career Center students are able to earn a Pre-Nursing, CNA, Welding, or Precision Machining diploma from Ivy Tech prior to graduating from high school.  Traditionally, students are given the opportunity to participate in Ivy Tech’s graduation, however, the ceremony is being postponed to a later date.

Students earning Ivy Tech certificates are listed below, sorted by their home school.

Blue River Valley High School: Ethan Haas, Abigail Irvin, and Nakayla Witham.

Eastern Hancock High School: Matthew Carter, Lainey Effing, David Fields, Lyndsi Foster, Ellie Griesmeyer, Kolton Synesael, Hannah Lewis, Alexis Lewman, Benjamin Riggs, Leiya Sotelo, Sydney Stanley, and Paige Wickard.
